Cary Tusan loves to laugh and it’s one of the reasons why he writes comedy. He got his start working as an intern at Silver Pictures and survived. Afterwards, he had a stint as a development exec for a 20th Century Fox-based producer. He moved on to The Hollywood Reporter/Hollywood Creative Directory, and then Studiosystem, interacting with all sorts of amazing people. He went on to write, direct and produce numerous web series. In 2013, he was a finalist in the New York Screenplay Competition for his spec of The Mindy Project. He’s completed a bounty of half hour comedy pilots. He honed his quick thinking comedy chops at the Upright Citizens Brigade Sketch Writing class. He was a partner in Hellsan Productions, a short and long form content company. Every few years he indulges his inner geek and treks down to San Diego for the insanity of Comic Con, in which he wrote a popular Studio System News article. Read his judicious tweets at @CTusan.
